Shanghai, China - Oct. 20, 2009, Ikonnet Technologies announced that the HiClass V, one of Ikonnet's best selling computer classroom management systems, now can support Linux operating system.
This is a major step to promote HiClass V features and make it more welcomed by schools using Linux in their computer classroom.
HiClass V now supporting Linux makes schools to implement their computer classrooms with a lower TCO (Total cost of ownership).

Ikonnet released new HiClass V for LINUX formally and start shipping to customer in new orders. "We added support for non-Windows virtual machines running on our Virtual Server, including Linux. At present, Ubandu and Redhat that is frequently used became available for HiClass V system after the final test",chief engineer of Ikonnet Ms. Qian said.
HiClass V is a computer-lab management system as a teaching solution combined with the use of ICT resources, networking and multimedia. HiClass product line has over 30,000 installations worldwide.
